Well, this is a weird one. Justin Bieber - who's had a rough couple of weeks, it must be said - is accused of beating the living daylights out of one of his former bodyguards. According to a new lawsuit, Moshe Benabou, an ex-member of the Israeli army, accuses Bieber of punching and berating him following a disagreement.
According to Benabou - who reportedly worked for Bieber between March 2011 and October 2012 - the young singer (who probably weighs 130lbs, if that) punched him in the chest during an argument about how to handle a member of his entourage. The Israeli is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery and more than $420,000 in unpaid overtime. Sources in the Bieber camp tell TMZ.com that Moshe is simply a "disgruntled employee looking for money," labelling the claim that Bieber struck him as "absurd." He was reportedly fired because of multiple lies he told the singer's people, including that he had previously worked for Justin Timberlake. Why Bieber's management didn't check this through is unclear. Bieber fans might recognise Benabou as the guy who got into a fight with a photographer at LAX way back in February 2012. After a brief struggle, Moshe landed a pretty vicious looking punch before both men were apprehended by cops.
As mentioned, it hasn't been the best couple of weeks for Bieber, who reportedly split from long-time girlfriend Selena Gomez despite getting back together only a few months previous. Last week, a photographer was killed after pursuing the Canadian singer in Los Angeles, while a Twitter hashtag advised Bieber fans to cut themselves in a bid to stop him smoking weed.
