Justin Bieber's elation soon turned to horror after a show in Washington recently. The 18 year-old star was playing in the Tacoma region of the state as part of his tour, and the day after the show was full of delight initially. "thank you to WASHINGTON state last night. U GUYS WERE LOUD!!!! MUCH LOVE!" he posted on Twitter.

However, all was not well. Bieber and his manager had a laptop and a camera stolen from the venue, according to Sky, and as soon as he made his followers aware of that he received a threat that their contents may be released in public. "sucks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy" Bieber had said, adding "yesterday during the show me and my tour manager josh had some stuff stolen. really sucks. people should respect other's property. i had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect."

Someone calling himself @gwexy on Twitter then got in touch with the star and wrote "@justinbieber dm (direct message) me, i have a propesition." Bieber evidently didn't get in touch with the mystery account - it's not known whether he genuinely is the person in possession of the gear - because he made a follow-up tweet saying: "oy you g** t*** dm me."
