Justin Bieber’s planned move to Atlanta has prompted the kind of backlash that even internet memes couldn’t have prepared us for. Recently, it was reported that Bieber had been eyeing a mansion in the city. While the rumor is still to be confirmed, Harold White, a resident of Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, took it upon himself to take a stand. White organised a facebook protest starting today, February 24, at 6AM.

Residents of the uber-posh neighborhood are worried about their peace and quiet.

Why Buckhead? The Biebs is currently renting a house in the uber-exclusive area from rap mogul Dallas Austin.

"We're concerned he'll bring the wrong type of element into a quiet, residential area. It is our position that a person with his means could certainly find a neighborhood more suited to his 'eclectic' lifestyle," he told CNN. White's wife then created a Facebook event to support the plan, according to TMZ. That must have stung for Bieber. The petitioners explain their main concern. It can be summarised as “Think of the children!”

The petitioners recommend that Bieber finds himself a community more suited to his "ecclectic" lifestyle.

“We have worked hard to achieve our goals and get where we are,” the petition reads. “Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children.”

But it’s the ending that’s truly priceless: “Please don't allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain.” About 200 people have indicated that they will attend the protest.

Once again, Bieber doesn't care.
