Julia Roberts sometimes finds motherhood a chore.

The 'Eat Pray Love' actress - who has three children, twins Hazel and Phinneaus, five, and three-year-old Henry with cameraman husband Danny Moder - insists she loves her daily routine despite having no time to herself.

She said: "I don't have the luxury of sitting around anymore. I must have had bags of spare time before I had children but I don't know what I did with it and I didn't appreciate it. But it's such a terrific trade off.

"And as with anybody who's a mum or a wife, it just becomes part of your everyday routine. Some days it's super fun and some days it's a chore."

The 42-year-old star also admits it takes a special script to tempt her away from her home life, but the fact she still works shows how much she enjoys her profession.

She explained: "For me to make that personal commitment to do that much work and travel to all those places, not alone but with 150 crew and my whole family, really shows how much I still love what I do."
