Josh Brolin has been spotted with a new mystery woman.

The 'Gangster Squad' star, who recently checked out of rehab in Northern California after a three-week stay, was spotted looking healthy and happy as he ran errands with an unidentified female in Los Angeles on Tuesday (17.12.13).

The 47-year-old actor, who sought treatment just weeks after allegedly getting into a drunken fist fight at a pub, dressed down for the outing in dark jeans and sunglasses, according to UsMagazine.com.

Josh's divorce from Diane Lane, whom he split from in February after eight years of marriage, was finalised around the same time he entered rehab.

But a friend brushed off speculation his drinking problem was related to the breakdown of his marriage and said: ''He realised he needed help and is committed to his sobriety.''

Another source previously insisted the former couple were still friends, adding: ''It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over.''

Josh also attended a performance of Tom Hiddleston's play 'Coriolanus' at the Donmar Warehouse in London's West End last Thursday (12.12.13).
