Actor Jonah Hill has paid tribute to a teenage student who lost his battle with cancer.
The Superbad star was saddened to hear that California high school student Steven Yampolsky succumbed to the disease earlier this week (begs13Feb12).
In a post on his Twitter.com page, Hill writes, "The world lost an amazing person and a wonderful friend far far too soon. Rest in peace Steven Yampolsky. We all love you."
Earlier this week, actress Taraji P. Henson, whose son attended The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California with Yampolsky, asked fans to pray for the teen and his family.
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris, who is also a Buckley student, also tweeted her encouragement to Yampolsky.
