It’s been a long, sad winter, but with the approaching spring (it’s never too early to dream) comes new hope and new TV seasons and specifically, new Mad Men. The final season will start premiere on April.

The end of Don Draper's saga approaches.

This will be the second half of the season, aka the final seven episodes of the show. Ever. Cue existential crisis for Mad Men fans. “What an incredible journey this has been. I take great pride in what the entire Mad Men team was able to create episode after episode, season after season,” executive producer and creator Matthew Weiner said in a statement, quoted by Mashable. “We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride, and hope it has meant as much to them as it has to us.”

The AMC series has one of the most dedicated fanbases, with the mad men (and women's) antics spawning blogs, fanart and countless Tumblr posts over the years. Peggy, Don and co. will be missed.
