Johnny Marr, Spiritualized and Echo & The Bunnymen are to headline Rockaway Beach festival.
The trio of acts will be joined by the likes of The Fall, Gang Of Four, Ghostpoet and Public Service Broadcasting, as well as a host of up-and-coming acts for the indoor event, which takes place at Butlins Bognor Regis, West Sussex, from October 9-12.
Festival Organiser, Ian Crowther from The Way of Music, said: ''The inspiration for Rockaway Beach comes from the pure excitement of hearing great music for the first time and will bring together a selection of the best emerging, breakthrough talent and established alternative artists.
''Of course, many festival-goers are buying tickets because of the legends playing. Johnny Marr is a god-like genius in every sense of the word, a true icon of independent music. Echo & The Bunnymen, Gang Of Four and The Fall are three of our greatest legends of post-punk. But what's special about all of these stars is that they are still creating, still being absolutely brilliant, and playing music. Rockaway Beach will be an intimate festival, allowing audience and artist to get close and share their love of music.''
Early bird tickets are currently on sale, priced from £85, and include accommodation and access to all music venues.
