British actress Joan Collins is celebrating after she helped raise thousands for charity on Thursday (21Nov13).
The former Dynasty star teamed up with the Reuben Foundation, a charity which supports the advancement of global education and healthcare, to host a star-studded event in London which raised $540,000 (£360,000) for a children's hospital.
Stars including James Blunt, Eliza Doolittle and British royal Princess Beatrice came together at the Adventure in Wonderland Ball to support the work of London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Collins has since taken to Twitter.com to share her delight with the results.
She writes, "I'm delighted that the Reuben's Foundation Gala Adventure in Wonderland which I hosted raised over 360,000 pounds for Great Ormond St hospital!"
