It's true that the debut of Jk Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' was exciting, but ultimately we are left with so many questions about the next four films. Luckily, we've gleaned enough information from Rowling, David Yates and others about just where the series might be going.

Fantastic BeastsThe four friends of 'Fantastic Beasts' are set to re-unite

1. We'll meet a young Dumbledore - Director David Yates recently revealed that he was on the search for an actor to play a 45 to 64-year-old Dumbledore for the upcoming sequels. We knew from clips in the first 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' that he's a big part of Newt's life given that he was one of the only teachers to stand by him when he was expelled, and we know from the books that he was the closest anyone has ever gotten to Grindelwald.

2. There'll be heartbreak - Rowling has stated on multiple occasions that Albus Dumbledore is gay, but on fewer occasions has she confessed that he was actually in love with Gellert Grindelwald during their correspondence at Hogwarts and Durmstrang respectively. Whether or not the feeling was mutual is another matter, but ultimately Dumbledore is forced to sever ties with his power-hungry old friend in the most brutal way possible without killing him.

3. Newt, Tina, Queenie and Jacob are back together - Newt was on his way back to England by the end of 'Fantastic Beasts', Tina was once again a respected MACUSA worker and Jacob - having apparently lost his memory of all magical occurences - realised his dream of opening a bakery. Plus, it didn't take long for Queenie to find him again. But Rowling has hinted of a big reunion for the next film, stating that 'we have four heroes this time rather than three [like in 'Harry Potter']'.

4. There'll be romance - 'Harry Potter' canon states that Newt and Tina ultimately get married, so that will be a beautiful thing to witness blossoming throughout the next movies. Of course, there's likely to be a lot of tension building up to that, given the photograph that Newt carries around.

5. Introducing Leta Lestrange - Said photograph is of Leta Lestrange; the ancestor of Rabastan and Rodolphus Lestrange who were loyal followers of Lord Voldemort, the latter being the husband of the notorious Bellatrix. While Newt explained in the first movie that they bonded over their both being outsiders, Queenie's legilimency showed a darkness to Leta as she described her as 'a taker' rather than 'a giver'.

6. Newt's expulsion explained - As a Hufflepuff, Newt has always been stubbornly loyal. And that loyalty was proven beyond measure when he took the blame for one of Leta's failed experiments at Hogwarts, whereby a magical creature put the life of another student in danger. He was ultimately expelled, but many fans have questioned why he was still allowed to keep his wand given that Hagrid was forced to surrender his under similar circumstances. 'All will become clear. Trust me', was Rowling's only explanation to that.

7. Credence returns - Credence was apparently killed by MACUSA after his Obscurus became out of control in 'Fantastic Beasts', but needless to say that wasn't the last we saw of him. Perhaps he was finally released from the dark force that bound him but, whatever happened in that subway, producer David Heyman has all but confirmed that he is alive and well. 'We actually had a scene, which we cut, which was Credence going to a boat, to get on a boat somewhere else. But we cut that, because we didn't want to have it be such an, 'Ahhh, here we go'', he told Cinemablend

8. It's set in Europe - We have been told that the story for the sequel at least begins in Paris, but we do catch a glimpse of the UK in there too. Perhaps we'll get to visit Hogwarts again? Or, at the very least, Diagon Alley?

9. The legendary battle - JK Rowling has confirmed that the final movie will take place in 1945, the year that keen 'Harry Potter' readers will note was the year in which Dumbledore battled and defeated Grindelwald, sealing him in his on fortress at Nurmengard.
