Jimmy Kimmel is excited about taking his talk show back to Austin and says he could ''easily'' be persuaded to move there permanently.
Jimmy Kimmel wants to move to Texas.
The 47-year-old presenter - who has eight-month-old daughter Jane with wife Molly McNearney - is taking his talk show to Austin next week during the SXSW festival after doing the same last year and having a wonderful time.
Jimmy - who lives in Los Angeles - said: ''I really love being in Austin. I could easily be persuaded to move there. There are so many things I like about it, number one being the food.
''I just had a lot of fun that week last year and I don't typically have a tremendous amount of fun when I'm travelling (with) the show, because it is a lot more work.''
Jimmy has a favourite eatery in the city, and is amazed that they offer free beer because a restaurant doing the same in Los Angeles would spark a ''riot''.
He told USA Today newspaper: ''Every menu in every restaurant looks like it's been drawn by hand. The food is not mass-produced.
''You go into [one] barber shop and they hand you a beer. There's a place called La Barbecue, one of the great barbecue spots out there. They can't sell beer because they don't have a liquor license, but they have a keg there and you can just have some. If you want to leave money, you can. If you don't, you don't have to.
''If that happened in LA, there would be a riot.''
