Brit pop singer Jessie J has postponed her scheduled UK tour by more than nine months so that she can work on her new album instead.
The 'Domino' singer, who is also a judge on the BBC talent show The Voice, has held back her first solo arena tour until the end of 2013 because she believes she needs "more time" to work on new songs for the 17 date tour. She told her fans about the news via her official website, saying, "I am honestly truly sorry, but I hope you all can understand that it's just because I would like to take more time to finish my new album. I promise to make this tour my biggest and best ever and cannot wait for you all to hear my new songs."
The string of dates had originally been slated to kick start in Nottingham on February 27, however now they will now begin in Belfast on October 15.
It has not been made specifically clear if fans have been offered refunds, should they not be able to make the rescheduled shows. They have been asked to get in touch with the ticket providers it they are eligible for a potential refund.
