Jess Glynne has thanked her dad for instilling a strong exercise and health ethic in her.
Jess Glynne is committed to exercise because of her days spent playing team sports.
The 'Hold My Hand' hitmaker is in great shape and tries to stay as fit as she can so she's in the best health for her concerts and she has revealed she got the keep-fit bug from her fitness fanatic father who wanted her to play soccer.
Jess said: ''My dad is obsessed with fitness to this day. He goes to the gym every single day. He goes at stupid o'clock in the morning as well. And he's 62.
''He's amazing and super healthy. Since I was a kid he's always wanted me to be an athlete, he wanted me to be in the Arsenal team. I've grown up loving all kinds of sports. I was on the football team, netball team, basketball team, all of that, I've always tried to maintain that kind of fitness.''
The 25-year-old singer - who is set to release her debut album 'I Cry When I Laugh' this month - has teamed up with 1Rebel and Glacéau smart water to create a workout for Londoners.
Jess admits she always chooses to drink water rather alcohol when she's out because booze is so bad for her voice.
She said: ''I'm such a bad rock 'n' roller. I would choose water over an alcoholic drink. Drinking for me affects my voice so much. I've been through a lot with my voice and I worry a lot about it ... I'll finish a gig, I'll get my steamer, put my pyjamas on and drink loads of water.''
