Jeremy Renner has made a $17 million profit on his Beverly Hills mansion.

The 'Bourne Legacy' actor bought the plush property situated in the affluent area of Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, for $7 million in 2010, and he is delighted after selling the six-bedroom, 11-bathroom modern build for a hefty sum of $24 million just three years later.

The 42-year-old actor put the swanky pad on the market back in January for $24.95 million after carrying out extensive renovation work, which saw him and his business partner Kristoffer Winters kit it out with modern interior ''fit for a 21st century Howard Hughes''.

The luxurious estate - nicknamed 'The Reserve' - spans over a staggering 10,000 sq-ft and is complete with a restaurant-size kitchen, a home cinema for those relaxing nights in, a private spa for some vital treatment time and an outdoor pool for a quick dip to cool down during the summer months.

The mansion has been designed in an Art Deco style and boasts five fireplaces, 14-ft high ceilings, two acres of garden and a super high-tech security system to banish intruders.

Jeremy - who has four-month-old daughter with his girlfriend Sonni Pacheco - and his co-worker Kristoffer seem to know their stuff when it comes to real estate as the pair have reportedly bought, remodelled and sold 20 properties in the past decade.
