Jennifer Lopez is definitely still single! Ever since the 45-year-old singer separated from her younger love of two and a half years Casper Smart in June, there has constantly been rumours claiming the pair have reconciled, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Lopez is "single right now"

While taking part in 'The Boy Next Door' press junket in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jan. 8, Lopez told Us Weekly, "I'm single right now."

"I think being on my own has been really great for me," she continued. "There was a time where I was just like 'Ehhh, I'm just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.' Now I'm getting back into the mix. For right now, I just have no announcements to make."

Lopez and Casper began dating in 2011, only months after her 7-year marriage to Marc Anthony, whom she tied the knot with in 2004, ended. The duo, who are parents to twins Emme and Max, 6, were officially divorced as of June 2014.

Before the Grammy winner's commitment to Anthony, she was involved in a string of high-profile relationships, including marriages with a Cuban waiter called Ojani Noa in February 1997 and former back-up dancer Cris Judd. She was also famously engaged to Hollywood star Ben Affleck, and shared a brief romance with Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

When discussing her turbulent love life with the January 2015 issue of Self magazine, Lopez branded herself a "love addict."

"When you have that much pain, you have to anesthetize yourself in some ways. People do different things," she said of heartbreak. "Some go out and party and sleep around, but that's just not my way. I found the comfort in someone else. That's called being a love addict."
