It's the Grammys and the Oscars all rolled into one - with added slime.
Surprise, surprise, Jennifer Lawrence was among the winners at last night’s Kids Choice Awards. Lawrence won for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Female Buttkicker, which might just be the best award title ever invented. In more news you probably saw coming, everyone’s favorite band of perfectly coiffed British dudes, One Direction, won Favorite Music Group and Favorite Song with Story of Us.
More importantly, the award show continued the beloved tradition of surprise slimings. For those not in the know, that’s the show’s way of combining humor with mild public humiliation, by pouring buckets of green goop on several unsuspecting presenters. One of the most hotly anticipated parts of the award show is finding out which celebrities needed an extra thorough shower at the end of the night. This year there were only three victims – Pharell Williams, sporting bright yellow SpongeBob SquarePants pajamas, took a shot of the show's trademark green goo, but he took it like a champ.
