Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have reportedly split up for the second time.

The 24-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay frontman, who started dating last summer after he announced his split from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March 2014, recently decided to end their long-distance romance because it simply ''ran its course.''

A source close to the 'Hunger Games' star said: ''Jen has been working non-stop and they never saw each other.''

The former couple previously split late last year for approximately one month before reuniting in December.

Chris, 38, recently sparked rumours he is dating Kylie Minogue after they were spotted strolling around London in the early hours of the morning, but a spokesperson for the Australian beauty insisted they are simply good friends.

Meanwhile, Jennifer has been spending more time with her ex-boyfriend and 'X-Men: Apocalypse' co-star Nicholas Hoult, whom she dated for four years until early 2014.

The insider told Us Weekly magazine: ''They're on great terms now. And their families have stayed close.''

News of Jennifer and Chris' split comes as a surprise, as sources recently claimed she had formed a close bond with his children, Apple, 11, and Moses, nine.
