According to reports, director David O.Russell wants to team up with Jennifer Lawrence for a third time to star in a biopic about Miracle Mop creator Joy Mangano.
Jennifer Lawrence is discussing the possibility of staring in her third David O.Russell film.
The 'American Hustle' director is currently in early talks to rewrite an untitled Fox biopic about the life of Joy Mangano, Deadline reports.
The film will follow a struggling single mother living in Long Island who becomes one of America's most successful entrepreneurs after inventing the self-wringing Miracle Mop.
And J-Law wants to take the lead as Miss Mangano.
It doesn't come as too much of a surprise due to the 'Hunger Games' actress's great success over the course of their partnership.
Lawrence was recently honored at the 2014 Golden Globes with the Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Rosalyn Rosenfeld in 'American Hustle'. She is also front runner for the Best Actress award at this year's Oscars.
The 23 year-old also won an Academy Award at last year's ceremony for her work in 2012's 'Silver Linings Playbook', in which she received the Best Actress prize.
At the moment the new project still does not have a title but is being penned by Oscar nominated screenwriter Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids),
This empowering tale is a rags-to-riches story at its best, Joy worked three jobs to support her children and overcame amazing odds to become a huge success on the Home Shopping Channel.
When the project is finally underway it will be interesting to see if any other of the actors who have work worked with O.Rusell several times before will be cast. He has collaborated with the likes of Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper, one more than one occasion.
Bale told NY Daily News back in December (2013), what it was like working with the film maker, "We enjoy a very frank relationship," he said.
Adding, "You just have those relationships where you can have those disagreements and disagree very strongly and you know it's not the end of the line, this is just what we do, this is how we work."
