Jennifer Aniston didn't wash her hair for two days prior to the Golden Globes.
According to the 'Cake' actress' hair stylist, Chris McMillan, the 45-year-old beauty's locks went unwashed before the star-studded ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Sunday (11.01.15), in order to create the perfect up-do.
When asked to share a secret about Jennifer's Golden Globes hair style, he said: ''That it wasn't washed for two days before the Globes!
''Jen had two day old hair, which works perfectly for buns! I used Living Proof Instant Texture Mist before, during and after to pull her hair back in a deep side part. I used a bungee cord ponytail holder and a long Goody bobby pin to hold the bun in place. I also used Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray to finish the look.''
Chris also revealed that the actress - who attended the awards with her fiancé Justin Theroux and opted for a simple black gown with sequin embellishment - had struggled to decide which look to go for on the red carpet.
He told Grazia magazine: ''The look we decided on for the Golden Globes was overall clean, simple and elegant.
''Jen was deciding between two dresses - if she wore one dress, her hair would have been down, but she ended up choosing the dress that would look best with her hair up.
''Originally, we were going to do a pony tail, but during make up, we put her hair in a bun and we both decided it looked great!''
