Jay-Z plays new songs at Yahoo! Wireless last night (13.07.13).
The rapper closed the second day of the musical festival at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park one night after he joined Justin Timberlake for his headline show and treated fans to a host of tracks from his recent 'Magna Carta ... Holy Grail' album.
As well as playing through fresher cuts like 'Crown', 'Tom Ford', 'Somewhereinamerica' and 'Picasso Baby', Jay-Z also put in solid performances of big hits '99 Problems', 'Empire State of Mind', 'Jigga What, Jigga Who', 'Run This Town' and 'Hard Knock Life'.
After joining Justin the previous evening for a duet of 'Suit & Tie', the favour was returned as the pair collaborated on their new song 'Holy Grail'.
The duo will be reunited tonight (14.07.13) as they combine for a full set to bring the weekend's festivities to a close.
Elsewhere, Jay's protégée Rita Ora also took the main stage, performing a series of her hit singles including 'R.I.P.', and Emeli Sande stunned the crowd with her mesmerising vocals. The 26-year-old songstress powered through songs including 'Next to Me' and 'Heaven', and teased a new collaboration with producer Naughty Boy, titled 'Free'.
British rapper Tinie Tempah was a surprise addition to the Wireless line-up and fans clearly couldn't wait to see the 'Pass Out' star make his musical comeback as he performed his new single, 'Trampoline', for the very first time on the Pepsi Max stage.
Tinie, 24, announced his performance just hours before he took the stage on his Twitter account and fans clamoured to see him perform the new track and old favourites including 'Drinking from the Bottle' and 'Miami 2 Ibiza'.
