Hip-hop mogul Jay Z has officially shut down the New Jersey branch of his popular 40/40 Club sports bar.
The Atlantic City venue, which opened in 2005, has been closed since October (12), when superstorm Sandy ripped through the state and left a trail of destruction across America's North-East Coast.
The $4 million (£2.5 million) bar was flooded and suffered serious damage to its roof during the natural disaster, and the 99 Problems hitmaker, who also owns two clubs in New York, has since decided not to renew its lease following its expiration late last year (12).
