Rosie Huntington-Whitely struggles to live a ''balanced life''.

The 28-year-old model has confessed she sometimes finds it difficult to maintain her svelte figure while refusing to deprive herself of her favourite treats as she still wants to ''enjoy [her] life''.

She explained: ''I work out. I have a balanced life in terms of what I put into my body. But I'm not somebody who is calorie-counting and stressed about the way I look. I want to enjoy my life; I want to eat beautiful food. But I also want to feel great.

''My life is all over the place, so it is hard to find a balance. But that's what everyone's trying to figure out in life, right?''

The Devon-born beauty - who is in a long-term relationship with fellow Brit Jason Statham - now resides in LA with her actor beau but often finds she misses her family and English home comforts.

She told Harper's Bazaar: ''I do battle with wanting to be closer to my family, wanting to call my brother on a Sunday and ask him to come round and watch The X Factor, or be there to support my sister, or go shopping with my mum. Not being able to do that can get me down.''

Although Rosie insists being Brits in Hollywood has helped them stay down to earth.

She explained: ''That's what makes being with an Englishman out there so great. I mean, we live in Hollywood, for fuck's sake. It would be easy to lose touch with reality.''
