Country star Jason Aldean put on a united front with his wife Jessica Ussery on Thursday (15Nov12) in their first joint Tv interview since he was caught kissing another woman in September (12).
The singer has been working to save his marriage after he was photographed smooching former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr outside a bar in Los Angeles.
Aldean subsequently apologised for acting "inappropriately" and "embarrassing" his wife, Jessica Ussery, and their two kids, and the couple proved things were good at home by appearing together on U.S. Tv's This Morning show to promote the singer's upcoming Concert for the Cure benefit gig.
When asked how their relationship was following the incident, Aldean said, "I think we're fine. I think anytime you go through anything like that - I mean it's tough. We've been together for a long time and through a lot of things together. Those are things that most people get to deal with in private, but we didn't have the luxury of doing that."
But Aldean insisted it wasn't the first romance trouble the high school sweethearts have battled: "I would say, 'Go ask any couple that's been married for 30, 40, 50 years... It hasn't always been roses."
The pair wed in 2001.
