Janet Jackson will open the upcoming American Music Awards with a medley of her most famous songs.
After performing as part of a tribute to her late brother, Michael, at the MTV Video Music Awards in September (09), the pop superstar will be promoting her upcoming hits album at the AMAs at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on 22 November (09).
Also scheduled to perform at the American Music Awards are Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Green Day, Shakira, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Keith Urban, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
