Janet Jackson has finally confirmed her split with longterm boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, two months after the break-up rumours first surfaced.
Dupri was noticeably absent from her brother Michael Jackson's public memorial in July (09), prompting gossips to speculate their seven-year romance had ended.
Jackson, 43, was married twice prior to her romance with Dupri. Her teen marriage to James DeBarge was annulled in 1985 and her nine-year union with choreographer Rene Elizondo was dissolved in 2000.
The All For You hitmaker admits to the October (09) issue of America's Harper's Bazaar magazine she is no longer with Dupri, but despite her new single status, she is keen to become a mum - even if it's not in the traditional family set-up.
She says, "I don't know if I'll get married again. I'll put it like this: if God wants me to, then I will... I'd adopt (children). And I think that if I'm really supposed to have kids, it will happen, if that's God's plan for me."
