Jamie Foxx thinks Kerry Washington ''did the right thing'' by keeping her marriage a secret.
The 'Scandal' actress quietly wed NFL football player Nnamdi Asomugha on June 24, and her 'Django Unchained' and 'Ray' co-star thinks it's great that she was so secretive about her nuptials.
He told E! News: ''I think she did the right thing. She kept it quiet.''
Although Kerry has played Jamie's on-screen wife on two separate occasions, the 'Amazing-Spider Man 2' actor reveals he wasn't invited to the 36-year-old beauty's intimate wedding ceremony in Hailey, Idaho.
He said: ''No I didn't get an invitation. It's good that she didn't because I would've blurted it out.''
Meanwhile, the Emmy-nominated actress' low-key wedding to Nnamdi, 32, has been described as ''simple and sweet''.
A source said: ''Everything was held at one of Kerry's friend's houses. They flew a few people out on this little private plane. The house was beautiful.
''It was small, just family and close friends. They said their own vows, people stayed at the house. It was really simple and sweet.
''The dress was plain white, slim-fitting, like it could have been off a rack. It was really regular.''
Kerry has been notoriously private about her love life throughout her career and recently avoided answering questions about her nuptials, however, she did admit she feels ''blessed''.
She said: ''I don't talk about my personal life in the press, but I will say I'm really happy. I'm blessed in all areas of my life.''
