The 20 year old student/model will be helping hand out the awards at the Golden Globes ceremony on January 10th.
Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, has been bestowed with the title of Miss Golden Globe 2016 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and will assist handing out the awards at the Golden Globes ceremony itself next year.
The Association made the announcement on Tuesday evening (November 17th) at the first party of its annual Awards season at an upscale bar in Hollywood. Traditionally, the HFPA gives the honour to the daughter of a celebrity, who plays a starring role at the January ceremony.
20 year old Corinne has frequently appeared at red carpet events alongside her father, who won the Best Actor award at the 2004 Golden Globes for his title role in Ray and was also nominated in the same year for Collateral.
“Throughout the years I've grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” the University of Southern California student and model said in reaction, revealing that she was intially tipped for the honour three weeks ago. “I'm honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he's been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments.”

“We are delighted to have Corinne Foxx continue the tradition and have her as our 2016 Miss Golden Globe. Like her father, [Corinne] leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can't wait to see what she does next,” said Lorenzo Soria, the president of the Foreign Press Association.
Other celebrity offspring who have had the honour of being Miss Golden Globe are Bruce Willis's daughter Rumer, Kelsey Grammer's daughter Greer and Bruce Dern's daughter Laura.
The 73rd Annual Golden Globes nominations are revealed on December 10th, with the awards themselves happening exactly one month later on January 10th at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. Ricky Gervais is set to take on hosting duties, after three consecutive years of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-presenting.
