James Cameron and Sigourney Weaver have given a morale boost to the U.S. military in Bahrain - they staged a special screening of AVATAR for troops.
The director, along with the movie's stars Weaver, Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodriguez, jetted to the island nation in January (10) to showcase their award-winning film at a military base and aboard two battleships.
And Cameron's ex-Marine brother, John D. Cameron, was thrilled with his sibling's morale-boosting visit.
He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "Showing Avatar to the troops was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To do something for the men and women who serve our country was a great privilege."
