Former James Bond Star Sir Roger Moore Is Recovering After Undergoing Foot Surgery.
The 87-year-old actor shared the news in a series of posts on Twitter.com, writing, "Last Man Standing becomes last man sitting down this week as I have to have a little operation on my foot! #hopalong007... Live and let limp?... Nothing too drastic. It's an old injury sustained on set a few years ago and needs a touch of surgery."
Moore later returned to Twitter to confirm he is now recovering after undergoing the operation, adding, "Feeling fine now. Won't be dancing for a few weeks though."
The operation reportedly came just days after Moore teamed up with current 007 Daniel Craig to film a Bond skit for Britain's Comic Relief charity. The comedy sketch is due to air during the Comic Relief TV event in the U.K. on Friday (13Mar15).
