The Brokeback Mountain star has signed on to play loner Seymour Krelborn in the New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center show this summer (Jul15).

The musical will also feature Ellen Greene, who originated the role of Audrey in the production and played the part in the 1986 Rick Moranis movie, and comedian Taran Killam.

The Little Shop of Horrors will hit the New York stage on 1 and 2 July.
