Jake Bugg felt like he was intruding when he visited Graceland.
The 'Seen it All' singer recently went to see Elvis Presley's former home outside of Memphis, Tennessee - kept largely in the same state it was when he died in 1977, and now a huge tourist attraction - but got an eerie feeling when he was there.
He said: ''I didn't like being there. Memphis is cool as f**k but, but I felt like I was intruding on someone's property - I wouldn't like a load of people traipsing around my house with their dirty shoes.''
Jake, 19, also relished the chance to visit the crossroads where fabled bluesman Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the devil for better guitar skills in Mississippi, but it wasn't quite as mystical as he hoped for.
He added: ''I heard his story, that he sold his soul at the crossroads, and I was intrigued, it's a crazy concept. I went to that crossroads and there was a 7-11 [convenience store] on the corner!''
Jake's has been working on his second album and admits success has had a huge impact on his songwriting, and he's going to write about different things to the gritty council estate observations about drug taking, stabbings and drunkards on his debut.
He added to NME magazine: ''To write about those things would be dishonest. You still see things and acknowledge things, but from a different perspective than when you're living it.''
