Jack Whitehall is voicing a troll in new Disney movie 'Frozen'.

The British comedian has lent his unique voice to comedy character, the Troll Priest, in the upcoming epic animated adventure.

The 'Fresh Meat' actor joins 'Veronica Mars' favourite Kristen Bell, Broadway icon Idina Menzel, 'Glee' star Jonathan Groff and 'The Internship' joker Josh Gad in the family-friendly film, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's twisted fairytale 'The Snow Queen'.

Whitehall plays Gothi the Troll Priest, a spiritual leader and officiator of weddings who appears with a host of trolls in one of the songs in the film.

The soundtrack was composed by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who also wrote hits musical 'Book of Mormon' and Avenue Q.

Jack said: ''It's very exciting to be lending my voice to a Disney animated movie. I'm a big Disney fan and 'Robin Hood' and 'The Lion King' were my favourites growing up.

''I'm delighted to be voicing one of the comedy characters in 'Frozen' and hopefully one day Disney will give me a bigger part!''

'Frozen' tells the story of fearless optimist Anna (Bell) who sets off on an epic journey alongside rugged mountain man Kristoff (Groff) and his reindeer pal Sven to find her sister Elsa (Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.
