Rapper Iggy Azalea Has Apologised For Letting Down Her Fans After Abruptly Cancelling Her U.s. Tour.
The Black Widow hitmaker had already postponed the start of The Great Escape Tour from spring to autumn (15), but on Friday (29May15), ticketholders were told the trek had been axed completely.
No specific reason had been given for the decision, but Azalea has since reached out to devotees online to express her sorrow at the scrapped shows.
Taking to Twitter.com, she writes, "As u (sic) may know, the tour is cancelled. I'm so sad and sorry to let my fans down...we'll be back out on the road when the next album is done."
However, fans of Azalea will still get to catch the star live at a handful of upcoming appearances across North America.
She adds, "The cancellations don't include Pittsburgh Pride, Ottawa Bluesfest, Quebec Summer Festival, or Washington State Fair. Still coming to those!"
