The Maltese Falcon is now one of the most expensive pieces of movie memorabilia to have ever gone under the hammer, though it still trails the original Batmobile from the 1960s television show. That sold for $4.6 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Aston Martin driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger sold for $4.1 million, Judy Garland's ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz made $2 million and a model of the Star Trek Enterprise made $576,000.
