NOTTING HILL star Hugh Grant was regularly humiliated in front of co-star Julia Roberts on the film's set - thanks to his uncontrollable erections.
The handsome Briton, who played bashful book store owner WILLIAM THACKER in the 1999 smash hit, got so excited when he was in the vicinity of stunning Julia, 36, that he kept finding himself aroused.
He laughs, "I always get a stirring when I play love scenes. During Notting Hill I had to walk the room and wait for everything to settle down."
And one on-set observer noted that MONA LISA SMILE star Julia was less than amused by the frequent problem.
The source adds, "Julia couldn't believe what had happened. It was embarrassing for them both."
