British Pop Star Harry Styles Has Joined Dame Vivienne Westwood's Ongoing Anti-fracking Campaign After The Singer's Hometown Was Earmarked As A Potential Site For The Controversial Practice.
The One Direction star hails from the town of Redditch in Worcestershire, England, where energy company bosses are reportedly hoping to open a shale gas fracking site, and he has now thrown his support behind fashion designer Westwood and her anti-fracking protests.
Styles has signed Westwood's 'Fracked Baby' doll and posed with the controversial campaign gimmick at a party in London this week (begs15Jun15).
Westwood has been carrying the doll, which symbolises fracking's alleged link to birth defects, during her recent protests, and other stars to add their signature include Jerry Hall, Bobby Gillespie and Jarvis Cocker.
Westwood plans to take the doll to an anti-fracking demonstration in Lancashire, England on Tuesday (23Jun15).
