Halle Berry's lawyers are planning to use her recent on-camera clash with a photographer outside her daughter's Los Angeles school to help her win a battle to raise her daughter Nahla in France.
Berry has apologised for the way she handled herself after she spotted lensman Andrew Deetz taking photos of the four year old - after she was caught on camera hurling expletives at the snapper.
But now it seems the video footage could be used to help her win a bitter custody battle with her model ex Gabriel Aubry - by showing court officials an example of the actress' daily struggle to lead a relatively normal life in celebrity-obsessed Hollywood.
Berry is currently trying to persuade the authorities and her ex to let her move to her fiance Olivier Martinez's native France with Nahla.
According to Tmz.com, her attorney Stephen Kolodny aims to call Deetz to the stand to testify how far he is willing to go to secure shots of celebrities' kids when the case goes to trial in June (12).
Berry has been particularly vocal about her disdain for Hollywood's paparazzi presence ever since her altercation with Deetz and recently insisted it's time for the "creepy" snappers to stop hanging around outside schools which stars' young children attend.
France has stricter rules about the photographing of celebrities' kids and Berry hopes a move there will better protect her daughter.
