The Oscar-winning actress, who currently pays $16,000 a month in child support, is looking to reduce the payment to $3,800.
Parenthood is proving to be too expensive for Halle Berry as she is now looking to reduce the amount of child support she pays to her ex-love Gabriel Aubry, which is currently at a whopping $16,000 a month.
Berry is looking to reduce the monthly payment to $3,800
The pair, who currently share joint custody, are parents to a daughter, Nahla, 6, and in June Berry was originally ordered to maintain this monthly payment until their daughter graduates from high school or turns 19 years-old.
However, Berry has reportedly filed legal documents that request the monthly amount be reduced to around $3,800 a month, according to TMZ. This comes after a long and tumultuous custody battle, which included Aubry successfully denying Berry's request to move Nahla to France, with her new partner Olivier Martinez.

But Aubry is trying to contest the reduction by claiming he needs the cash because he was unable to find any modelling work for six months after a physical altercation occurred between himself and Martinez on Thanksgiving 2012, which ended with Aubry's face bruised and cut.
The Oscar-winning actress thinks her former flame is blowing the money on fitness, clothing, electronics, car and health insurance, and is trying to avoid getting a job. "There is no case, no law, no logic that says a healthy, active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns," she says, TMZ reports.

Apart from their shared daughter, Berry has little to do with Aubry and is now the mother of two other children with her actor husband, Martinez.
