Life is tough when you’re Gwyneth Paltrow and last Monday’s Met gala was no exception. After the glamorous event, themed “Punk – From Chaos to Couture” Paltrow had nothing but complaints to share with USA Today.

"I'm never going again. It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all," said Paltrow about the gala.

Maybe it was her long-sleeve hot pink gown that got her all hot and bothered though. Unlike many of the other celebs at the event, Paltrow chose to sport quite a heavy Valentino number – not exactly necessary for the woman voted “Sexiest on Earth” just a few weeks earlier. At least it fit neatly into the night’s theme though. Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who wore a floral Chanel gown, said "pink is the color of punk," even though apparently, that wasn’t Paltrow’s intent at all.

"I guess it's punk in that I've gone just totally classic on a punk night." See what we mean? You have to be pretty unlucky to decide on a gown without any climate control, just to be hip and original, and then end up perfectly fitting in with the theme. Oh well, at least there were plenty of kooky outfits to compete with Paltrow’s loud ensemble. There was definitely a surplus of weird at this particular event.

It might be a Valentino, but the gown definitely doesn't look like it offers a lot of ventilation.
