The model and the former One Directioner are said to be an item, after they were photographed out together holding hands.
As rumours of a romance between Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik heat up, the model took to Twitter to defend her new relationship in a series of now deleted tweets. Hadid split from boyfriend of five months Joe Jonas in early November and had been criticised by some online for seemingly moving on too fast after the break up.
Gigi Hadid is said to be now dating Zayn Malik.
'Sometimes life just happens.. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense till it does. That’s it,' Hadid reportedly wrote on twitter (via The Mirror). ‘If there was a real way to sit with each one of you and tell you my side of things, I would.’

‘But there's not, so I won't. I've found the only way to happiness is by living as though the microscope isn't there,’ the model continued. Hadid appeared to be prompted to defend her relationship after some accused the romance of being ‘fake’.
Hadid and Malik’s relationship was seemingly confirmed over the weekend, when the pair were pictured leaving club The Nice Guy in West Hollywood holding hands. Malik was previously engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, but their relationship ended earlier this year.
In November it was revealed that Hadid and Joe Jonas had split after just five months of dating. The couple, who were nicknamed G.I. Joe, had been friends for years before beginning their relationship over the summer.
