Geri Halliwell's wedding to Christian Horner will not be attended by her former Spice Girls bandmates Mel C and Victoria Beckham, as they have work commitments.
Geri Halliwell's wedding won't see a Spice Girls reunion, as Melanie C and Victoria Beckham are reportedly not able to attend.
The 42-year-old singer hoped to get her bandmates back together for her nuptials to Christian Horner but work commitments have got in the way, with Victoria being out of the country and Mel C already agreeing to a TV role on 'Asia's Got Talent' on the same date.
It's not known whether Emma Bunton will be able to attend, but Mel B is flying in from Los Angeles - where she now lives - to see Geri get hitched at Syon House in London in a few weeks.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: ''Of course (Victoria and Mel C) wish her the best for her big day but won't be able to be there in person. Fortunately, Mel B is heading back to attend.''
While a reunion obviously isn't happening at Geri's wedding, Mel B has revealed that the Spice Girls ''talk a lot'' about reuniting for live shows next year.
The 39-year-old star says she and the other girls haven't ruled out doing something special to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2016.
She previously said: ''I mean, we got together for the Olympics and nobody thought that we were going to get together for that. Next year is our 20th anniversary so we'll see. Maybe we'll do something. Who knows?''
