George Harrison's former doctor is at the centre of a wrongful death lawsuit following allegations he treated a patient for cancer when she never actually had the disease.
Legal documents state Giuseppa Bono, 34, told Dr. Gilbert Lederman she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Italy - but the oncologist and a partner failed to follow up her medical claims.
The mother of three received two radiation treatments and died in 2003.
Lederman was previously accused of taking advantage of his connection to a dying Harrison and forced to hand over a guitar he had the former Beatle autograph on his deathbed to the singer/songwriter's estate.
