George Clooney's co-star wants him to meet her mum.

Anna Kendrick - who stars opposite the heartthrob in 'Up In The Air' - says that despite being nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this weekend's Academy Awards, her mother is more interested in who she can meet on the red carpet than celebrating her daughter's success.

Anna is quoted by gossip website Absolute Now as saying: "I'm bringing my mom and my brother. I'm really excited but my mom is even more so. All she wants to do is meet George Clooney. She's can't wait. It's all she talks about."

The 24-year-old star recently revealed she has her outfit planned for the big night, but is "not allowed to talk about it".

She added: "I'm going to try it on in a few days and it's beautiful. I'm really excited about it. It's a designer that I've worn before."

The Academy Awards take place on Sunday (06.03.10).
