Clooney ups his banter game by joking about Bullock's "drunken calls"
Sandra Bullock threw interviewers a curveball when she revealed that she doesn't find Hollywood super hunk George Clooney "sexy" during a chat on British daytime show Daybreak. Eager to prove that Bullock's statement is nonsense, the 52-year-old hit back by joking that his Gravity co-star drunkly rings him up every night to profess her love.
Just friends?
“She may say that she’s not all that attracted to me, but she calls every night, three in the morning, drunk, 'Hey, George, what are you doing?'" the Oscar-winner joked. He continued, telling Entertainment Tonight, “It’s non-stop. And then I just send her a bottle of tequila."
“He’s not everyone’s cup of tea. We’ve known each other for so long, sexy is gone,” Bullock said during an interview on the ITV show. "Not that he’s not sexy because he is very, very handsome... If you like that kind of dashing, charming, smart, talented, successful kind of thing.”
Bullock appeared on Daybreak to promote her and George's latest film, Gravity, which has skyrocketed to the top of the UK box office after opening on Thursday, 7 November. The film took in a massive £6.2 million haul on its opening weekend and looks as though it will stay strong and continue to enjoy life at the top of the box office for another weekend. This comes after the film saw unprecedented success in the US, where it was released last month, going on to earn over $55 mil. in its opening weekend and has so far amassed over $233 mil. in the domestic market (according to Box Office Mojo).
