The Hollywood actor bought a lavish mansion in Sonning, England after his marriage last year (14), and George and his wife Amal are currently renovating the property prior to moving in.

However, they have been hit with numerous complaints over the work.

They had to alter plans to install surveillance cameras around the grounds and they were also ordered to move a fence which sits between the house and a nearby river.

Officials at South Oxfordshire District Council gave the couple three months to move the fence, but it reportedly remains in place four weeks after the deadline passed. A local council representative has now warned he will be pushing for authorities to take action.

Council vice-chairman Paul Harrison tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "I would prefer the fence not to be there at all. The previous owners didn't need any fence there. I'm sorry George Clooney feels he has to live behind a fence... He's blocking his views but it also destroys the view along the river. I will be pushing for enforcement action."
