A suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting after a FRENCH MONTANA gig in Pennsylvania last Thursday (28Feb13).
Police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania detained 20-year-old Frank Briggs on Tuesday (05Mar13) on suspicion of firing into a crowd of fans in a parking lot where the rapper's tour bus was stationed.
Jowann King, who had attended Montana's show at The Theater of the Living Arts earlier that night, died of his injuries, while another unnamed male was also hurt.
Briggs is now facing a number of charges including murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault, among others, according to Philly.com.
Speaking after the incident, the hip-hop star - real name Karim Kharbouch - said, "It was a serious situation. We had a peaceful show. We was on the bus... Then, we go to the front of the bus. People are just running... My bus don't have no (sic) bullet holes on it... If they didn't shoot at the bus, there was nothing to be worried about. I guess it wasn't for me."
Montana was among around 20 people who were interviewed by police in the aftermath of the shooting as cops attempted to piece together the events.
