Fergie and Josh Duhamel's son made their Christmas extra special.

The Black Eyed Peas singer and the 'Save Haven' actor welcomed their first child, Axl, into the world in August, and the 'Pump It' hitmaker revealed their baby boy is ''very curious'' about the festive season.

The 38-year-old star told People.com: ''It's all about baby Axl this year.

''It's really cute because he's been looking at the tree and the lights in our house and he's very fascinated by this and the ornaments. He wants to touch it and feel the way that the bristles feel on his feet and hands and he's very curious about it.''

She added: ''It's such a happy feeling as a parent to see the curiosity in your child's eyes.''

Fergie is set to host the west coast party on Dick Clark's 'New Year's Rockin' Eve' with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday night (31.12.13).

A host of stars including newly single Ariana Grande, Fall Out Boy, Enrique Iglesias, Robin Thicke and Jennifer Hudson will perform during the annual ABC celebration.
