Farrah Fawcett is winning her battle with cancer - the actress is now "free" of the disease, according to her longtime friend Cher. The ex-Charlie's Angels star has been receiving groundbreaking cancer treatment, which is banned in America, in a German clinic over recent months. Fawcett was originally declared cancer-free in February 2007, but doctors found new cancer cells just three months later. But following the latest batch of treatment, the 61-year-old's cancer is now dormant again - and Cher, who has received similar treatment at the German clinic to combat the Epstein-Barr virus, is ecstatic her friend is on the road to recovery. Cher tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "She's now cancer-free. "She's tough. I don't think I could have gone through what she did."
