Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has no regrets about quitting booze a decade ago, insisting drinking is a "self-centred" activity.
The Trainspotting actor went teetotal in 2001 after his partying spiralled out of control, and later revealed he had been drunk on the set of on some of his biggest movies.
A decade on, MCGregor insists he does not miss alcohol, telling Britain's Daily Mirror, "Drinking is a very self-centred way of being. I was successful and felt invincible - drinking and just living the life. I had a problem, which is why I stopped and I haven't had a drink in more than 10 years now."
