Eva Longoria would never move to the UK.
The former 'Desperate Housewives' star insists she couldn't see herself ditching Los Angeles and relocating to Britain because she can't deal with the plunging temperatures and persistent rainfall in England.
Speaking at the Global Gift Gala at the ME Hotel in London on Tuesday night (19.11.13), Eva exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: ''I don't think I'd move to the UK, it's too cold.''
The 38-year-old actress is planning on spending the Christmas period in Los Angeles because that's where she calls home at the moment due to work commitments, but she admits she hasn't started any of her seasonal shopping yet because she has Thanks Giving to prepare for first, which falls on November 28.
She explained: ''I'm working so much in LA so that's pretty much where I'm based.
''I'm having Christmas in LA, but I haven't done anything yet. For us, we have Thanks Giving so that comes first.''
Eva hosted her fourth annual London Gift Gala to raise money for The Eva Longoria Foundation and Caudwell Children - a charity which improves the lives of disabled children - and The Global Gift Foundation.
The event - which featured an auction of celebrity lots - raised £400,000 and donations will also be made to DEC - the disaster relief fund benefiting victims of the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Guests included Victoria Beckham, Nicole Scherzinger, Meghan Markle, Thierry Henry, Thom Evans, Ken Paves and Pixie Lott.
Speaking about the evening, Eva said: ''Tonight has been phenomenal and I'm so grateful to everyone who turned out for the 4th annual London Global Gift Gala at the ME hotel, especially on such a cold evening. We have raised over £400,000 which will go on to help local charity Caudwell Children, The Eva Longoria Foundation and The Global Gift Foundation. I want to thank everyone who has supported such a fantastic event.''
